DISC Personality Profile

Why is DISC important?
  • Relationships are extremely important (parent-child, husband-wife, friends, etc.).
  • Understanding personality helps us understand each other including what motivates us and what motivates others.
  • Communication challenges and interpersonal conflicts can often be avoided when we understand our natural bends.
  • Understanding DISC can help make you a better communicator, aid in resolving conflicts and, better yet, can sometimes keep conflicts from happening in the first place

Understanding Self and Others
  • Understanding the basic personality traits helps us understand why people do the things they do.
  • It helps us see people’s natural tendencies and can help us understand why we do the things we do.
  • NOTE: No one should use their personality as an excuse for ungodly, sinful or immature behavior.  We need to train ourselves to be godly!
