John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son.
I was so blessed to worship the Lord with a group of incredible women today at cell. As we have been reading through the Gospel of John together we have done more than just study it theologically. We have let the Lord speak His truth into our lives as we have applied it to our lives and let Him love on us. Today we focused on John 17-19; the Passion of the Christ. What a privilege to thank Him for His sacrifice, to tell Him that we love Him, to lay our burdens at the cross and to ask Him to take them, never to take them back. Thank you Lord for not just saving me but setting me free and being the Lord of my life. I choose to obey and serve you out of a heart of thanksgiving and LOVE!
Isaiah 53:5 He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by HIS WOUNDS we are HEALED!
